About the role

We are helping a team find a Software Engineer to design and build a layer 2 privacy solution for a tier1 blockchain utilizing Zero Knowledge Proofs. You have a passion for ZK technology and cryptographic primitives. Building on existing scaling technology being developed in the ecosystem, this is the first privacy solution for a major blockchain presenting a great opportunity.

The position is part-time initially.

What will you be doing?

• Evaluate and analyze existing fraud proving and validity proving systems in blockchains

• Apply cutting-edge cryptographic constructions such as zkSNARKs to design and deploy protocols with high performance and strong privacy/security guarantees

• Produce technical specifications for designs and a whitepaper

• Assist with implementation in coordination with team members

• Implement, review, and adapt existing scaling protocols

• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
