As part of the Protocol / Tokens team, you will be building the tokenomic infrastructure to add value, liquidity and utility to the IMX token. (Note there will be some overlap with Primitives moving forward.)

Typescript, Go, Solidity (Ethereum), Python, Postgres, Shell, Serverless, AWS

Level of blockchain knowledge needed:

L3 – You’ll need a solid understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contract development practices/principles (preferably with solidity + deep knowledge of existing token/contract standards) and tokenomic design on layer-1 systems as you’ll be carrying over that knowledge to layer-2 (experience on layer-2 is preferred but not necessary).

What will an engineer be exposed to working in this team:

Engineers here will have primary exposure to the tokenomic application of a multi-layer token and be building out Immutable X’s token ecosystem, by placing IMX as the main value driver, you’ll work on designing and implementing ways to use IMX to add value to our protocol utility and funnel growth back into the token or incentivise ways to use of our trading primitives and direct revenue back into the token. This can come through as but not limited to voting mechanisms (governance), staking, reward programs, PCV, treasuries and more.
